Online casting forms

An online casting form actors fill in within two minutes

Publish a casting call with its own application form: only the fields you need, photos with a minimum and maximum, self-tapes as a video file or a link. Actors don’t need an account, and you get tidy submissions instead of direct messages.

  • Every casting gets its own page; applying needs no sign-up
  • Required and optional fields, your choice
  • Self-tapes: a video file or a YouTube / Vimeo link

A free plan with no time limit, no card required.

An online casting form actors fill in within two minutes

When submissions arrive “however”, half your time goes on messages

Missing details

One selfie, no height, no age — and you write to every applicant to ask.

Required form fields: without age, height and enough photos the application won’t send.

Self-tapes everywhere

A video in a messenger, a link in an email, a file in the cloud — all collected by hand.

The self-tape is a form field: the video arrives with the application, as a file or a link.

No order

You can’t tell who you’ve reviewed, who you haven’t, and who went to the director.

Every response sits in the casting’s list with a status, and the shortlist goes to the director on a private link.

A casting form builder

Tick what candidates must provide: name, age, height and weight, measurements, phone, Telegram, Viber, WhatsApp, social links, photos, a demo video. Each field can be required or optional.

  • Photo limits: say, at least 2 and at most 6
  • The role’s gender and age range drive filters and subscriber notifications
  • A closing date: the form closes by itself

Self-tape requests inside the form

Make the demo video a required field and every candidate sends a self-tape with the application — as a file or a YouTube, Vimeo or cloud link. The video plays right in the application, and with media conversion on it is re-encoded for quick viewing.

  • Put the self-tape brief in the casting description
  • A repeat submission from the same actor adds to the first instead of duplicating it

A casting page and an agency page

Every casting has its own link with the form — easy to drop into a post, a channel or a newsletter. All your open castings live on the agency page, with gender and age filters and a subscription for new roles.

  • Your own subdomain: your-agency.utadi.com
  • Your own styling: background, colours, default language
  • A share image is generated for every casting

Every submission in one list with statuses

Form submissions, Telegram and email applications land in the casting’s list. Statuses — Pending → Reviewed → Shortlisted → Approved or Rejected — show what’s left and who made the shortlist.

  • Photos in a gallery, videos in one click
  • The shortlist goes to the director on a private link

Frequently asked questions

Do actors need an account to apply?

No. They open the casting link, fill in the form and attach photos and video. Registered actors can also follow the status of their applications.

How do I request self-tapes?

Turn on the demo video field — file, link or both — and make it required. Describe the self-tape brief in the casting text.

Can I embed the form on my agency website?

Yes. Castings and their application form can be embedded as a widget, and developers get a REST API with PHP and Python libraries.

How many castings can I publish?

The number of castings and applications a month depends on the plan; each plan’s limits are on the pricing page.

What happens to the form after the closing date?

Intake closes automatically and the casting page says the casting has finished.
